OP3 (Open Podcast Prefix Project)
Some of our podcast feeds use the OP3 open-source analytics prefix to measure download statistics. When you download or stream an episode through these feeds, your IP address and user agent are logged by OP3 for aggregated analytics. OP3 is an open, privacy-focused project. Advertising
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on our website. Google AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your browsing activity.

Email Services
We use Resend as our email delivery provider. When you submit a contact form or subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is transmitted to Resend for delivery purposes. Resend processes this data on our behalf and does not use it for their own marketing purposes.
Emails are stored in our database hosted on Cloudflare. We retain contact form submissions and correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry or as required by law.

Social Media Integration

Access tokens are stored only for the duration of your session and are not retained after you disconnect your account. You can revoke Beta Finch's access at any time through the connected platform's settings.
Third-Party Podcast Platforms
Our podcasts are hosted on Spreaker (an iHeartMedia company) and distributed through third-party platforms including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, Deezer, Podchaser, Podcast Addict, Overcast, Castbox, and Pocket Casts. When you listen to our content on these platforms, their respective privacy policies apply.
Our podcasts may include dynamically inserted advertisements provided by Spreaker's ad exchange. These ads may be targeted based on aggregated listener data provided by the platform.
We receive aggregated, anonymized analytics from Spreaker and other platforms about listening patterns (such as total downloads, geographic distribution, and device types), but we do not receive personally identifiable information about individual listeners.
Hosting & Infrastructure
Our website and services are hosted on Cloudflare, which provides content delivery, DNS, and security services. Cloudflare may process technical data such as IP addresses and request headers to deliver our content and protect against malicious traffic.
Podcast audio files and cover artwork are stored on Cloudflare R2 object storage. Our email system uses Cloudflare Workers and D1 database for processing and storage.
Support Platform
We use Patreon to accept voluntary support from our audience. If you choose to support us on Patreon, your data is handled according to Patreon's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details from Patreon.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include HTTPS encryption for all connections and access controls for administrative systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
